A family business, built on happy backyards
G&M started about five years ago in an apartment, as a side income. The G was Gutierrez, a fella who helped get things off the ground in the early days. Today the company belongs to Stuart Meadows outright, run in partnership with his wife, and the name stays as a nod to where it all began.
Stuart spent most of his career in home building before concrete became the main event. That background shows up in how G&M thinks about your yard: not as a slab to pour, but as part of your home, something that should be structurally right and genuinely beautiful, and that adds real resale value when the day comes.
Stuart lives in Tioga with his wife and their two kids, ages 4 and 1. He started G&M so he could work hard and still be present in their lives, and that same idea is what he builds for other families: a place at home worth staying home for. What began as pouring slabs has grown into luxury backyards, outdoor kitchens, entertainment areas, and front yards that stop traffic.
